January 17, 2014

I am going to try and update at the end of every week a quick synopsis of what we did at the different groups. and update some information. Firstly we have 25 people coming to the community choirs fesitival - whoop whoop whoop.I have a coach provisionally booked with a price to be confirmed but it should be no more than £11 per person for the coach. Tuesday evening choir. It was the first meeting of the evening choir and we had a great turn out. We covered a number of songs including 100 hundred hairy savages, a polynesian song, Land of the Silver Birch, black socks and shalom cheverim and I like the flowers. Wednesday morning choirFantastic meet! We tackled hairy savages, Oooh a lay lay, Land of the Silver Birch and then worked very hard on Koki Sikeli Africa. We achieved some fantastic harmonies. We ended with a navajo chant and engine engine Friday morning choirWe warmed up on the hairy savages song and then learnt a zimbabwaen spiritual and then worked really hard on Sloop John B - coming to Tuesday and Wednesday next week. We closed on a new ending song I am trying out and Engine Engine. Thank you everyone for your exceptionally hard work and dedication.
